Egg white wrap

Muffintop-less:

Clean Eating Breakfast Pita 

(Makes 2 pitas)

Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (any color)
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup raw spinach (but you can cook it if you prefer)
  • 2 tsp. olive oil

Directions

Step 1 – Saute the bell peppers in the oil until tender (the spinach too if you prefer it cooked)
Step 2 – Add the eggs and spices to the pan and scramble everything together.
Step 3 – Stuff your pita with the filling and go!

1/2 a banana, handful of berries, scoop of non fat greek yogurt, scoop of organic peanut butter, protein powder, soy milk and ice.  YUM

Non-fat greek yogurt with protein and honey for apples!

You can dip all different fruits in this yummy dip! My friend taught me it a few weekends ago!

What you need:

NON-fat Greek Yogurt, protein powder and honey

Mix it all together and dip your fruit in it!

six meals a day

I started seeing a trainer once a week to switch up my everyday routine.  He is making me (:)) eat six meals a day to speed up my metabolism and it is hard! Basically I can have the following:

Goal

5-7 proteins/day

2 carbs/cheats a day

2 fats/day

1 fruit/day

Unlimited veggies

So here is an example of a typical day for me:

Wake up at 6 am and have a hand full of almonds – thats one of my fats

at 9am I have 2 eggs (one egg white and one yolked) with a 1/2 piece of ezeikel english muffin – that is 2 protein and 1 carb

then at 12pm I have something like the above pic (turkey, low fat string cheese, 1/2 an avocado, cucumbers – 2 proteins and 1 fat

at 3pm I have 3 hard boiled egg whites –  protein

at 6pm I have chicken and salad – protein and veggies

and if I am hungry any other time of the day I have a 1/2 an apple with a scoop of peanut butter.  The sixth time is hard for me to fit in because I won’t eat past 7pm.  But this is my goal.  Don’t quote me on what everything is categorized as, I am pretty sure I did it right!
